– The developers conference of the year –
The art of software engineering
Welcome to Luminis’ DevCon;
our 4th annual IT conference.
On April 12th 2018 we will celebrate the Art of Software Engineering at the CineMec Venue in Ede. Our developer conference is a platform where you and your colleagues can share knowledge with like-minded IT specialists. We will focus on trends and the latest software development technologies. Multiple technical sessions will be presented by renowned international and national speakers who will also share their experience and knowledge through a series of parallel sessions.
Check out the agenda to build your own conference learning experience. In between the sessions we offer 15 minutes breaks so there is some time to chat amongst speakers or fellow attendees, and to grab a cup of coffee or tea. There is no need to rush from one session to the next. The cinema rooms all offer spacious and comfortable seats and a big screen to follow along.
Meet people, ask questions, exchange your experiences and explore the future together. Enjoy this learning experience at Luminis’ DevCon; the developers conference of the year!
Our developer conference is 100% recruiter free.
Sander is a Fellow at Luminis in The Netherlands, where he crafts modular and scalable software, most often on the JVM, but with a touch of TypeScript when needed. He also is a Java Champion and author of the O’Reilly book ‘Java 9 Modularity‘. As an avid conference speaker, Sander loves sharing knowledge, also through his blog at http://branchandbound.net and as Pluralsight instructor.
Sander was voted as best rated speaker of DevCon 2017!
Marc is an experience architect at Luminis Apeldoorn with almost 25 years of experience. Marc’s focus is mainly open source backend and (mobile) frontend technology. Besides his broad focus he is also specialised in Enterprise Search, Profiling and Recommendation, EAI and Semantic Web.
GP likes to design and build digital stuff. From the moment he got his Atari with a whopping 1Mb memory, he has been tinkering with computers. Part of the front-end group of Luminis in Rotterdam, he spends most of his time developing web applications. He likes to design apps as well, connecting stakeholders to developers. Before it was cool, he was involved with building 3D models for a project that aimed to cure phobias in Virtual Reality. As a side project, he’s making apps that live in the real world using mixed reality technology.
