HTTP/2 – what’s in it for you?

The HTTP/1.1 protocol, which we have all been depending on in the last 20 years, has a successor that will be gradually moving into your life as software support becomes more widespread.

As an IT-specialist, you will be confronted with novelties such as ‘server push’ and ‘header compression’ that have found their place in the HTTP/2 protocol. In my talk I’m going to equip you with must-have and in-depth knowledge about HTTP/2 and describe implementation examples.

What makes it different? How does it work? What are the differences between and improvements over its predecessor? How can you make use of HTTP/2, ‘push’, and when should you start putting in the development time?
